Customer reviewsAesthetically Appealing Poor Quality - You Get What You Pay For
I very much wanted a minimalist entertainment/media stand as I hate the bulky entertainment centers that were all the rage when I was "younger". This stand was really aesthetically appealing to that end. Currently we are renting a house and I didn't want nor would I ask to hang our 55" TV from the wall. This stand was marketed as handling up to 55" sets. Well, as you can see from my underlit photo, I'd now say that 55" is really pushing this little stand to its limits. Our TV is not heavy but combine that weight with the TV's height and width and the stand feels like it could tip over at any moment. I know it won't -I trust physics- but I still find myself tiptoeing around it. The TV mount is meant to swivel, and it does, but there is almost no resistance when it rotates - it swings freely. Overall, the construction feels shoddy. Having moved more often than most we are old pros at assembling furniture from boxes and although this was a simple build I cannot with confidence endorse the engineering behind the assembly.
