D.M.: Admittedly novice user, so rating is relative to that

This is the first reciprocating saw I ve ever operated. I needed it because a contractor I was working with became so unreliable that I had to jump in on a last-minute repair in order to meet another deadline carpeting being installed . If you re a seasoned veteran handyman, or certainly a professional, this might not be enough horsepower for the job. But it ably cut through 3 4 OSB while giving me enough control to cut in a reasonably straight line. Removing the blade to flip directions was simple, and I never had a problem getting it clicked back in. While I wish I didn t need this in the first place please, contractors... please be more reliable , I m glad I was able to find an affordable tool that was this easy to use.
