This is a pretty good reciprocating saw for what it is. It seems well built, and so far is has held up well over the past year or so with a fair amount of usage. The only complaint I have is that the blade stop tends to come out of adjustment. I think it could have been designed a bit better. It gobbles up batteries pretty fast too but they all do. I have almost every Ridgid cordless tool available and this one neither blew me away nor disappointed me. This one is just average for a Ridgid tool. But as all Ridgid tools go, at least the ones I have it is of superior overall quality for the dollar and a good overall value.
