Customer reviewsFit perfect in the spot of the old unit.
I replaced a similar unit that burned up due to a faulty electrical wiring in the shore power. Installation was a bit tricky and required reading the manual for correct installation. No way to manly wing it like I try to do it with the Swedish furniture assembly. The manual shows you different scenarios depending which unit you currently have. Mine was a bit different than all of them but it gave me a good enough understanding so I could complete the job myself. It required replacing the DC circuit board which was a bit tricky. Dont forget to lable wires when you take the old unit out. Sorting those afterwards can be difficult. I like that it comes with the battery tender function. That way it preserves your house battery from overcharging. This has been an issue with longer stays where the current was on all the time. The nice thing was it fit directly in the spot of the old unit without the need to swapping housings or drilling new holes. If you are not inclined working with electrical components you may want to hire a professional. Its more involved than replacing a light bulb. But its doable for the average do-it-yourselfer with some basic tools.
