Customer reviewsSo Good, It s Why I Don t Own A Table Saw
I purchased this saw five years ago. Since then I have used it to cut nearly every type of wood imaginable for home DIY purposes . I ve used it to rip 1 2-inch plywood sheets, and to cut hardwood 4x4s. Every job for which I ve relied upon it, it s never let me down. Honestly, my only regret is that this saw performs so well in so many ways that I can t bring myself to buy a table saw. While a table saw would make ripping boards more convenient, the quality of the cut I get with this circular saw is identical. Of course, ripping boards with a circular saw requires more setup, which eats time, so if you plan to do nothing but rip boards all day you re going to have the opposite opinion. But, honestly, I don t rip boards often enough to justify buying a table saw simply for the convenience.
