Great drill if you already have the batteries and charger from another Makita, save some money.I have an older model of this drill, and it worked really well. I abused it and it is still working, but not as well as when new. I am sure it was my own fault, I was using it for something that it should not be used for. I used it originally to install hurricane panels on my home in Florida. I drill all the holes in the concrete block and installed 3 inch tapcons. I did hundreds, of holes and screws with this, and it was easy as can be. Since I had the batteries from the last drill, and another Makita drill that uses the same batteries, I was happy to not have to buy a useless case, charger, or more batteries, when all I really needed was another drill. This type of impact drill is very useful, it is not exactly like hammer drill, but it does the same thing.
