Customer reviewsExcellent saw
I ve used circular saws since I was about 12 years old. My first saw was my dad s Makita in the mid 90 s... I worked selling Milwaukee tools for 4 years out of high school... I have used several brands of circular saws, good and cheap, and this Makita as well as previously used Makitas is an awesome saw. Out of the box, this saw was like cutting butter with a hot knife. There was no feel of binding or struggle, it just cut... I used it to rip and cross cut with the factory blade and no setup and it was a joy to use. Being the third generation in my family to own and use a Makita saw, I will never own another circular saw than Makita.
