Sussman, took the first Boeing Jet Airplane trip from Seattle, Washington to Japan, JET began as a small dealer that sold air hoists and trolleys out of a single hardware store in Seattle. Over the years, JET has carried everything from snowmobiles, transmitter radios, and forklifts to nylon stockings, but by the early 1970s, metalworking had become the base of their business line. And by the 1980s, JET had expanded into the realm of woodworking. Today, you ll find that JET offers a wide range of popular woodworking tools that are backed with best-in-class features and excellent service. What s in the BoxJWBS-14DXPRO 14-Inch Deluxe Pro Band Saw, base, trunnion, table, and instructions
Customer reviewsLooked like someone had dinged it and tried to repaint it
Couple minor issues setting this up. 1. Table locating pin was damaged. Looked like someone had dinged it and tried to repaint it. Yes, this was a new saw. A little extra persuasion with a rubber mallet got it into place. 2. While adjusting tracking, got a bit of a rubbing noise. Narrowed it to the motor. Fan was rubbing on the shroud. Fan was a little cockeyed. I moved it back slightly on the motor shaft and it worked fine. 3. One of the screws for the switch cover was missing. I have a vast selection of screws, so was able to immediately replace. 4. Not exactly a big problem, but tried to find the table to trunnion mounting screws. Couldn t find them in any of the packaging. Finally figured out they were in the swivel, stuck up inside. No big deal. For what this cost, I think a little better QA would go a long way. Otherwise, seems to run fine, easy to adjust.
