This is a beautiful and modern tv stand. Love that it is multi-purpose--I can utilize it as a bookshelf, to display my "treasures," and store the associated tv components neatly. Nice glossy finish, not cheaply made at all. Definitely happy with my purchase. That said, putting it together was challenging. It took many hours and I had to take frequent breaks to deal with my frustration. The instructions were adequate. I'd recommend you organize and count all your pieces. Everything is labelled. I put it together by myself and it would have been nice to have another set of hands. Make sure you have your own screwdriver...a cordless drill would have helped but I managed. It's a very classy piece of furniture. Just be methodical and patient when assembling
