Customer reviewsIntermittent Operation
I wanted to like this tool - am in process of refurbishing old deck and this seemed like just the ticket - it ran fine for the first 6 cuts or so then quit running - I spent 20 mins checking cord connections, GFCI outlets, etc until I realized it was the saw. Picked it up and it ran, put it down and it quit. Essentially intermittent operation - and the saw was not hot had not been run long - so it can t be blamed on a thermal switch if in fact the saw has one . I checked the saw thoroughly - cord appeared firmly attached and trigger safety pushed down fully - so no obvious defects.
