Doug: Great Product

I know that Festool products are quite pricey for the average woodworker like myself. Trust me, this tool is worth the investment. I recently finished a counsel top made from 7 4 pine and was disappointed to find that once I applied stain, there were several swirl marks created from the Dewalt and Rigid orbital sanders used. Many people have opinions as to how swirl marks are created but after purchasing the Festool, I personally believe it has to do with the sanding stroke of the tool and using quality sandpaper. This sander has a 5 64 sanding stroke which is smaller
