Difficult To Work WithI have been using a Porter Cable 6 random orbit sander for almost two decades, with excellent results. But all things come to an end, and when it started having problems I figured it was time for a replacement. I have always had a difficulty getting into tight places, so in addition to getting a new 6 random orbit sander, this was one of the two tools that I got. What I found was that while it is great for getting into tight places, it is unusually aggressive, and extremely difficult to control. With the disc at full speed it jumps around badly, to the degree that the only way to effectively control it is to reduce the speed significantly--and with that, there goes the speed at which you can take down the surface area.
