Corner and edge finishing and great all-around sander, the DTS 400 is designed for fine sanding of small, angular surfaces that are difficult to reach. With a short 5 64 inches 2 mm stroke, this sander gives you a super-fine finished surface. Both compact and lightweight 2.4 lbs , the DTS 400 is the ideal sander for working on vertical and overhead surfaces. The triangular pad is ideal for fine sanding in corners as well as along edges. It especially excels at sanding shoulders and rabbets along the convex edge of the pad without shuddering or jolting. And the tight orbital 5 64 inches 2 mm stroke produces a minimal sanding pattern for excellent finish results. Equipped with internal Turbo dust extraction for dust removal with the supplied filter bag the DTS 400 can also be used with a vacuum dust extractor for optimum dust extraction efficiency. With Vibration Stop VS technology the sander is optimally balanced to deliver better finish results with smooth operation and greater comfort with less fatigue. Step-less variable speed improves working results on a variety of material. Made in Germany.

Seems neither small nor lightweight to me.I m always looking for girl tools as I call them. They are light weight, easy to use and reliable. So when I realized I needed a lightweight small sander, I looked here. The thing is, as much as this is advertised as being small and lightweight, the head is not smaller, and it s not lighter weight than my Makita orbital sander, which is considered a standard sander. Notice the pictures, they re sanding down and not with one arm over their head. The vendor was great to deal with, so no issues there.
