I currently am using the enk3000 inverter to power a refrigerator drawing current from 2 200 amphour 12 volt deep cycle batteries connected in parallel. I live out in the country and power goes out quite frequently sometimes for hours, and even days if the weather is severe enough. Having a backup plan to power our refrigerator will be appreciated when the outages come. This inverter was easy to install. I appreciate having it come with the heavy duty cables for attaching it to the battery bank. I have only run the refrigerator now for several hours and the inverter has not gotten warm and was quiet when running and did not run much at all during refrigerator operation. Currently I will charge the batteries with a Genius battery charger, but soon will add solar electrical panels to the roof to recharge the batteries. I plan to test battery drain by adding more appliances and lighting to the inverter so we will see how that goes in the future.
