rob: Consider Dewalt Please

I bought the first Dewalt 18 volt set in 2004. I gave the original one to my grandson for his construction business. It is still working but is getting tired. I replaced it with a new one this year 2018. The original one was used for crosscut and rip on lumber up to and including 2x12, hardie plank, and steel roofing. It is a very friendly tool on the roof, crawl spaces, and rafters. The saw is very robust as well. We have dropped it more than once from a roof and rafter location. I have a worm drive Makita that is a great saw as well but it has seen most of it duty diminished due to the convince of the Dewalt unit. The Makita saw is a great framing and large construction saw. Dewalt 18 volt cordless tools have expedited our output on many projects. We have used other cordless tools as well but in my opinion the broad range of tools that Dewalt has to offer in the 18 volt line is very useful. The real consumer friendly thing that Dewalt did was supporting the 18 to 20 volt upgrade with a adapter for most of the older lines. This is very business friendly because it allow an upgrade to occur as the older units need replaced instead of the large bit for a new line. Thanks Dewalt.
