Quality saw with accurate laserThis saw is plenty powerful enough for anything I need to cut. It powers through 2x material without a problem. I have already crosscut a bunch of 1x12 boards with it and it cuts very clean, no splintering. The depth of cut is almost 2 1 2 so it can easily cut through a 4x4 with two passes. It is not excessively loud. It is much lighter than any of my other corded models. It weighs less than 7 lbs. The laser was spot on accurate right out of the box. . Most inexpensive saws I have purchased came with a stamped blade that had to be changed out immediately to get good cuts. This had a quality carbide tipped blade in the box so you can start cutting right away with good results. It has a rubberized grip so it won t slip in your hands when you sweat. Even my expensive saws have an all plastic body. This is a nice feature add-on. The depth of cut gauge is on the upper blade guard and is easy to read. There is hardly any sawdust kicked back into your face because of a dust blower. The safety switch is well located for right of left handed users. For 60 you are not going to find a better saw.
