A. Adams: I cannot tell you how much I wanted to love this thing

I cannot tell you how much I wanted to love this thing. Alas, it stinks. Really. I live on one-third or so of an acre in the burbs. The first time I used it, I went through one entire spool of string. I returned it to Amazon because I thought the feeder must ve been broken. Nope. Got the new one and one spool lasted about 1.5 uses. No, I m not doing big, deep woods brush I m just doing light grass trimming around my mailbox and sidewalk. I recently purchased a non-B D generic brand roll of spool on Amazon to see if that would help. Nope. Did as good of a job FYI , but lasted one trip around the yard. Today, less than 2 years after owning this thing, I noticed my battery charger is broken. Sigh.
