Customer reviewsRemember your worst Amazon ever This was mine. Avoid.
Obviously with COVID work from home mania, the demand for home office equipment is at an all-time high. And desks are definitely part of this. It seems like this model has been extremely popular. Let s face it- it has a contemporary look and a great price. I expect that many other customers reached this same conclusion, so my initial July 4 order was back ordered for about a month. That order got lost in shipping. Perhaps Amazon is not so good at heavy and bulky items Something to consider. I will say that Amazon customer service was good about sending a replacement which finally arrived on Wednesday 8/26. It seems like in an effort to fulfill the back orders that there were some significant compromises at the factory in China. Most notably, the finish on the top you know- the part you see every day had a pair of 1/4 divots that were finished over see photo If there was a QA, it should have been rejected for this reason alone. But wait- there s more Two of the corners in the desk top are misaligned with notable gaps. The clincher was that the legs were built backwards. The holes for the cross brace were set up to mount it up front- clearly wrong. When I put them in the correct positions, the screw holes were so mis-aligned that I had to use my drill to enlarge the holes. Even then, the bolts were at an angle and one may have stripped. At that point, I was in too deep to deal with a return. This desk should be a hard no.
